David Andrews, broker /owner of RE/MAX Real Estate Services gave a great presentation today on his expert view of the future of real estate ownership in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.  He suggests that property value will continue to climb as more and more Canadain baby boomers bring their wealth to the West Coast of BC to enjoy the Lifestyle, Lifestyle, Lifestyle in their retirement. David also expects to see a marked increase in residential rental rates as tradesman flock to Vancouver to service the pre Olympic building boom. These higher rates will support higher prices of homes with suites and mortgage helpers.

From my experience it's rare if not unheard of to look back and not regret owning property.
